The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is committed to religious education that teaches how to think rather than what to think. Several opportunities are provided through Sunday morning classes in fall, winter, and spring.
Children Sundays at 9:45 AM
Children ages 3 – 4 learn of a loving God and the Gospel of Jesus through Bible storytelling, crafts, and songs in an age appropriate introduction to the faith.
Elementary school age children are offered Rotation Sunday School, an innovative, “learning by doing” program that teaches major Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops, including art, drama, movies, games, and Bible cooking!
Middle School and High School
Middle School (Chi Rho) and High School (CYF) learn through a discussion format that addresses living as a persons of faith in the midst of modern day challenges. In addition to Church School education, the youth enjoy activities together, including projects that build a sense of mission.
Adult Church School
The Adult Church School Program is centered around the value of diversity of opinion and the value of discussion.
Adult I is for “mature adults” who follow a designated curriculum. Adult II and III is for a wide range of ages, often combining biblical studies and addressing faith in the current context. Spirited discussion is common with this group of adults.
